Everyone buys or sells a home, parcel of land or investment property for that matter, with one objective in mind. "How will this improve my life?" It often generates a myriad of other questions like, "Why should I do this?"  "Is this the best time to make this move?" "Where do I start?" "How do I know if I have thought of everything?" Sometimes you aren't even sure what the question actually is! I understand this is a process and my job is to help you sort through your options and determine the best steps to make a plan, YOUR plan, to upgrade your life! 

 

As a REALTOR and CRS, Certified Residential Specialist member, on-going education is vital to stay current with today’s market and customer expectations.  One of the benefits of selling real estate since 1980 is even though financing options shift as our economy fluctuates, the basics are not much different from when I was first licensed. Markets shift between favoring buyers or sellers: ideally lingering somewhere between for a while!  I'm actively involved with Whidbey Island Association of Realtors, have mentored many new brokers and enjoy the process of guiding clients to find their best real estate results.

 

One of the things that makes our community so wonderful is the abundance of caring individuals who donate time and resources to the many non-profits on Whidbey Island.

Coldwell Banker 360 Team has a long history of supporting others; non-profits- especially those supporting the less fortunate, Community festivals, Educational Scholarships, Schools and Youth programs or Emergency crisis.  My advocation- Board member and current Treasurer of Ryan’s House for Youth, who exists to provide Whidbey Island and all of Island County youth safe and stable housing, supportive relationships, and the opportunity for self-sufficiency and success.

We were moving across the country and were referred to Marchele by friends who had a great experience with her buying a lot on Whidbey Island a number of years ago. From the first contact we had with her, Marchele was responsive, professional, open, warm and helpful. Marchele has lived and worked on Whidbey Island for over 20 years, and brings a vast compendium of knowledge to help her clients. She listened carefully to what we wanted, helped us find the ideal neighborhood by showing us almost 20 homes in the various distinctly different areas of the Island, and once we had found our dream home, she negotiated an excellent purchase price, again listening carefully to where our boundaries were and getting the sale at exactly the price we targeted. The experience could not have been more positive. To top everything off, Marchele connected us with multiple local service providers, including a contractor, an escrow agent, an insurance agent, an attorney, an HVAC professional, a water abatement specialist, a home inspector, a geotechnical engineer, a roof and gutter service, and a garage door service person. She showed us great restaurants, hiking trails, beaches, and numerous other places of interest while providing us with an insider's understanding of this special place. Finally, Marchele introduced us to a wonderful neighbor who has volunteered to help us with many of the little details that are hard to accomplish from 3,000 miles away. She has also been available just as reliably after the sale was completed to continue to point us in the right direction and go the extra mile. We already feel a part of the community and are excited about what a perfect fit Marchele helped us find.
